The Balance Plans
These plans, offered by Group Health Options, Inc., give your clients complete physician choice, featuring in-network and out-of-network options with different levels of coverage. Structured like traditional copayment plans, there's a fee for in- and out-of-network office visits. For some benefits (in- or out-of-network), coinsurance won't apply until after the deductible has been met. And, the deductible doesn't apply to any preventive care office visits, and to most in-network office visits.

The Welcome Plans
These three plans, offered by Group Health Cooperative, share a unique design. The deductible is waived for the first five outpatient visits, and payment is covered with just a copayment or coinsurance, depending on the plan. These plans provide access to the Group Health provider network.

The HealthPays® Health Savings Account
This high-deductible plan, offered by Group Health Options, Inc., qualifies your clients for a Health Savings Account (HSA), which means they can pair it with a separate bank account designated for pretax money used to pay eligible medical expenses. This plan gives your clients complete physician choice, featuring in-network and out-of-network options with different levels of coverage.
| Your clients can choose their own financial institution for their HSA and must meet a few eligibility rules in order to apply for this plan: |
| • |
They can't be covered under any other plan. |
| • |
They can't be enrolled in Medicare. |
| • |
They can't be eligible as a dependent on another's tax return. |
After members incur health care expenses, providers will bill them for the amounts they owe. If they are qualified medical expenses, members can pay the bills by following their banks' reimbursement process for their HSA accounts.
